How children play with it
At the nursery race, the child crosses the finish line, gets a cuddle and the medal is placed around their neck. The brass glints in the sun, the fabric ribbon feels soft against the neck. At home, the reverse side is filled in and the medal finds its place on the door handle. A memory that lasts.
