How Children Play with It
Children shovel sand onto castles, ladle water from buckets and fill water tables from above. A small amount of water runs down the channel, another scoop follows – a cycle begins. When digging in damp sand, children feel the resistance and adjust their strength. The scoop becomes an extension of the hand.
