How children play with it
Children fill the container with sand, carry it to the garden and place the collection tray beside an ant colony. Within minutes, the first ants are walking along the tube whilst children watch with bated breath. In the observation chamber, ants dig their tunnels – visible through the clear material. With the magnifying glass, children spot antennae, legs and eyes. After a couple of hours, the ants are released back home.
