How children play with it

The diamonds chime softly when they touch, casting rainbow spots on the wall. Children hold one up to their eye and see the world broken into dots and lines. Hidden and hunted between tree roots in the forest, sorted by size or light patterns at the table. A quiet, almost meditative activity.
