Dual Learning Clock

Analogue clock on the left, digital clock on the right, both synchronised – the Dual Learning Clock makes the jump from clock face to digital time tangible. Set any time you like at the press of a button, and both displays move together. Cover one side to turn the example into a learning challenge.

How Children Play with It

The educator sets 4:54 and covers the digital side – the children read the analogue display and work it out: that’s six minutes to five. For the next example, the analogue side is covered and the class converts the digital display back. Day/night symbols help cement the 24-hour logic visually. Lightbulb moments happen one after another.
