Six egg-shaped chalk pastels in soft pastel tones, shaped like spring’s symbol, sit comfortably round in children’s hands. The round shapes don’t roll away but stay put when children let go. Sun, flowers, butterflies on grey asphalt—spring can begin.

How Children Draw with Them
Children roll the chalks in their hand, press them onto the asphalt and draw broad, colourful lines. They sketch sunshine, clouds and flowers in front of the nursery entrance, blend colours by drawing over them and watch grey paving turn into a canvas. Movement and creativity come together.
