How children play with them

Daniel looks for 7 – first the number, then seven stars, then seven circle segments, then a rectangle with seven boxes. All four side by side, the number 7 becomes real. Marie turns it into a memory game: four cards face down, who can find the four that match? The wood clicks softly, and concentration fills the silence.
