Giant Sand Timer 15 min Blue

A 15-minute sand timer in giant format — time becomes visible, time becomes tangible. The Giant Sand Timer with blue sand shows 15 minutes flowing: 15 minutes of reading practice, 15 minutes of play, 15 minutes of story time. Children develop a sense of time.

At a glance

• 15-minute time unit: perfect for learning sessions and playtime
• Blue sand: high visual contrast
• 30 cm tall: striking table presence
• Time markings on top and bottom: visible even when flipped
• Sturdy glass and plastic construction: nursery-proof

How children play with it

Children flip the Giant Sand Timer over and the blue sand starts flowing. During reading, learning or play, they glance regularly at the thin column of sand in the middle — time is no longer an abstract concept. When the last grain falls, the session is over. Self-regulation is practised, patience is developed, time awareness grows.
