Giant Sand Timer 45 mins yellow

This large yellow sand timer makes waiting time visible. 45 minutes of coloured sand flows through the glass — perfect length for a story circle, craft time or a peaceful lunch break. Children watch the sand fall and develop an early sense of duration and patience.

At a glance

• 45-minute duration: ideal for longer learning and play sessions
• Coloured sand: stays visible even from behind
• Time markings top and bottom: children recognise the timer instantly
• Robust plastic casing: tip-resistant and perfect for group spaces
• Height 30 cm: easy to spot even from the reading corner

How children use it

Children place the timer in the middle of the circle, flip it and watch as yellow sand tumbles grain by grain. Some count along, others draw or paint until the last grain falls. Abstract time becomes something you can see, hear and hold — a gentle companion through long periods of concentration.
