How Children Play With It
A child sits in front of the mirror and sees themselves speaking three times – face-on, left and right profile. The lips forming ‘O’ become visibly rounded, for ‘I’ the mouth corners pull to the sides. Hearing and seeing reinforce each other, pronunciation becomes conscious and more precise. Nursery teachers and speech therapists can see alongside the child what’s happening.
