How children play with it

The child finds the matching colour, threads the string through the hole from above, flips the card and pulls it back through. As children lace, their fingers learn the rhythm of over and under, their eyes plan the next stitch. When a card is complete, the strings emerge proudly from the holes—the finished design shines on the wood. On the blank side, children invent their own creations.
