Can I watch TV for five more minutes? The sand timer shows how time passes. A 15-minute sand timer with coloured sand, classic and visible. Children develop a sense of time by watching the falling grains.
At a glance
- 15-minute runtime: classic sand timer duration
- Coloured sand: clearly visible and easy to follow
- Mega format: 8.4 cm diameter, 16 cm height
- Time marked on both sides: top and bottom clearly labelled
- No batteries required: mechanical principle
How children play with it
When brushing teeth, the child flips the sand timer and the coloured sand begins to flow. Watch how the upper chamber empties and the lower one fills. 15 minutes reading time, 15 minutes play time, 15 minutes focus time – clear boundaries without argument. Every time the sand timer is flipped, the cycle begins again. Time becomes tangible, visible, honest.
