How Children Use It
A child places a slide on the microscope stage, adjusts the focus and peers in – suddenly a structure appears that was invisible to the naked eye. Plant cells, insect wings, minerals – each slide a window into another world. As they move between slides, children learn to handle them carefully and compare their observations.
