How children play with it

Children place the ten-frame on the tray, sliding two-coloured counting stones into the spaces. Three red, seven blue — the image demonstrates how they combine to make ten. In the sorting container next to it, number stones wait for pair games, and the movable tray mechanism allows two children to work at the same time. Maths becomes a quiet hands-on experience.
