How Children Explore It
The knob sits between thumb, index and middle finger — exactly the grip that will later hold a pencil. Children pull, compare, sort and replace. When a cylinder is left over or a socket remains empty, the material corrects itself; no adult intervention needed. This creates quiet, focused work.
