How children play with it

First the wood is weighed in the hand, the thumb travels along the smooth surface. With a carving knife under supervision, the first shavings appear, the scent of wood fills the room. Sometimes the rod becomes a drum on the table, sometimes the mast for a pirate ship. A material that lets children create whatever they imagine.
