How Children Play with It
The child opens the wooden case, and the scent of wood rises up. They pick up the hammer and tap the wooden nail into the work block. They saw with the saw, turn with the screwdriver. Tools are discovered, hand-eye coordination is practised. Once the work is done, everything goes back into the case – tool-kit organisation from the third year of life.
