Step by step
- Number the 24 charm beads or bag them up for each day
- Cut the long cord and tie a starting knot
- From 1 December, thread on one bead each day
- Fix small knots between beads so they don't slip
- On 24 December, hang the finished chain as decoration or a keepsake
