What you need

Step by step

  1. Arrange the balance stones and balance wheel into a loop course in the garden
  2. Set out the bean bags at one station for throwing or head-balancing
  3. Set up the giant ball catcher as the final station for a closing game
  4. Walk through the course together with the group once and explain the rules
  5. Rearrange the stations regularly depending on weather and ground

Safety first

  • Check the ground for trip hazards and wetness before using the course
  • Only use balance stations under supervision and with enough space between children
  • Bean bags are filled and hold their shape but should not be thrown when other children are very close

Variations

  • Set up the course indoors in the gym using the same elements
  • Colour-code stations by difficulty for different age groups

Our tips

  • Institutions can order on invoice, which makes it easier to buy a complete course set
  • Regularly rotating the stations keeps the course interesting for months

Frequently asked questions

Is the material weatherproof?

The outdoor elements are built for outdoor use, but should be checked briefly for slip risk after heavy rain.

How many children does one set suit?

One course set works well for a group of 10-15 children taking turns at the stations.
