Step by step
- Set up the sofa and table set in a fixed spot in the group room
- Lay out the seasons rug in front of it for circle time
- Thread the year chain with the wooden heart beads, one per month
- Move one bead along together with the children every week and talk about the season
- Add seasonal natural materials (leaves, chestnuts, blossoms) to the table

- Beads suitable for children from age 3 under EN 71, small parts only under supervision
- Check the furniture for a stable, non-slip position
- Check natural materials for sharp edges or very small parts before use
Variations
- Extend the seasons table with an extra plinth for the children's found objects
