Step by step
- Set the bamboo ring aside as the base
- Attach silicone and wooden beads alternately to the ring to create material contrasts
- Sew or bind the bell in firmly
- Pull all the connections tight and check they're firmly attached
- Offer it in everyday use for deliberate grasping, feeling and listening
Safety first
- Knot or glue small parts securely; for use with under-3s, supervision only
- Check the material for wear before first use and regularly afterwards
- Not suitable for free play by children under 3, only guided and firmly joined use
- Only process the bell firmly bound or sewn in

- Combine with a crocheted toy instead of a bell for extra tactile stimulation
