Step by step
- Arrange the beads and threading figures within easy reach on a tray
- Prepare the cord end as a firm threading tip
- Let the child thread large beads first, then smaller ones
- Bring in the threading figures as a highlight along the way
- Look at the result together and name what's been threaded
Safety first
- Knot or glue small parts securely; for use with under-3s, supervision only
- Check the material for wear before first use and regularly afterwards
- Not suitable for free play by children under 3, only guided and firmly joined use
- Only use the threading game under direct supervision, and put small parts away afterwards

- Extend with letter beads for older children to thread their own name
