Step by step
- Rinse the silicone beads briefly with warm water and let them dry
- Fasten the elastic cord to the silicone clip
- Thread the silicone beads and lens beads alternately
- Check the length against the clip, maximum 22 cm
- Knot firmly and hide the knot behind a bead
Safety first
- Total length including clip no more than 22 cm, in line with EN 12586
- Never use while sleeping, in the cot or in the pram without supervision
- Never lengthen the chain or add extra cord
- Attach the clip to clothing only, never worn as a cord around the neck
- Check knots, beads and clip for a firm fit before every use
- Silicone beads are BPA-free, but as with any dummy clip they're not meant for unsupervised chewing
Variations
- Combine with individual wooden beads for a wood-and-silicone mix
- Use a rainbow silicone charm instead of the patterned silicone bead
