How Children Use Them
The extra thick lead glides across the paper, layering grey in multiple shades creates shadows, clouds and texture. Older children love the hexagonal shape, holding the pencil in their own way, discovering how much pressure the colour needs. From twelve shades of grey emerge landscapes, and overlaid strokes create depth.
