How children play with it

Older children secure the animal in a vice, the lime wood shaving falls with each stroke of the knife. They sand the edges, polish the surface, and finally paint on the face and stripes. The blank becomes their own unique animal, one of a kind. Educators support the carving phase closely, whilst painting happens independently.
