How Children Play with This
The child primes the paddle in skin tone or pastels. Eyes, mouth and nose come into being. From leftover wool, plaits are woven and glued in place. The paddle becomes Anna, Lukas or dragon Theo — a character that springs to life during puppet play. Stick puppets instead of finger puppets, their own creation instead of ready-made toys. Pure self-efficacy.
