How Children Play With It
Children choose a puzzle, lay out the pieces and start fitting them together piece by piece. As they puzzle, conversations happen – Paula has two dads, isn’t that interesting? No, replies the educator, that’s just her family. With 35 pieces per picture, the puzzling takes a while – plenty of time to think, ask questions, and learn. Tolerance grows through doing, not preaching.
