How children use it

Children sit side by side with their feet dangling just above the ground, small hands tapping the rough wood. In summer the wood is warm and dry, in autumn it smells of rain and forest. The bench becomes a meeting point after picnics, an observation post at the garden edge or a sitting circle in the outdoor area. Long legs ensure stability even on uneven ground.
