How children play with it
Children paint names, numbers, little flowers and stars on each flag with fabric markers. The finished flags are threaded onto the cord, and the garland is strung between two trees in the garden. Wind sets the flags dancing, each one showing a child’s own hand. Silent fabric becomes a living shared creation.
