What’s sprouting on that little head? You dip the bare fabric head briefly under water, stand it up, and after a few days bright green grass grows like a wild hairstyle from the parting.

How Children Play With It
First they dip the head under the tap and feel how the stocking soaks up water. Then they place it in a glass of water and wait – every morning a peek: anything sprouting yet? Suddenly the first green shoots poke through, tickle the finger when you stroke them and grow longer every day. Time to style with scissors: mohawk, fringe, completely shaved – and then the child waits for the hairstyle to grow back.
