How Children Play with It

A handful of pebbles roll across the tray, towers of counting stones grow alongside. Children sort by colour, by size, by their own logic, create patterns, count, compare. Rough wood, smooth stones, different weights speak to multiple senses at once and open the space for their own ideas.
