How children play with it
Your group of eight tackles a big craft project together — an advent calendar, say. Everyone has room to work, scissors and glue and card spread out just right. Next year group arrives? Crank it up, and it fits the older children. The melamine surface forgives everything — splashes, scratches, sticky fingers — just wipe clean.
