Birch plywood, dark stain, clear lacquer – the natural market stall is more than a piece of furniture. A greengrocer today, a post office tomorrow, a bank counter the next day: the reversible roof and open design turn every role play into its own universe. The beautiful wood grain is meant to be seen.

How Children Play with It
During free play, children arrange fruit and veg on the counter, take payments with a serious face. The wood grain feels warm in their hands, the wooden sound of a stamp echoes through the post office. When it’s time for a role change, a practitioner flips the roof – and the market stall becomes the bank. Language development happens naturally as they negotiate and sell.
