How children play with this
Children squat on one side, pull out a box and start sorting. On the other side another child continues with the same materials. The low-level design lets them decide for themselves what to fetch and when to put things back. Sand grains, wooden pieces or sorting materials go into the transparent boxes, everything stays in view.
