How children play with it
A child starts at the top left. 3 + 1 – they search for the right answer on the right side, guiding the string through the groove. On the back, the lines tell the story: straight lines mean correct; crossed lines mean not quite right. Self-checking builds independence – children learn at their own unhurried pace, without needing adult support. Maths becomes a challenge to conquer.
