How Children Play
You arrange the pathways on the floor – elephant behind frog one moment, cat between ducks the next – each configuration becomes its own adventure. Feet sense the animal prints, balance responds differently at each height, from 4 cm to 17 cm. Children step, crawl, balance – sometimes slowly, sometimes with a run-up. Sensory information travels instantly to brain and body.
