How children play with it

Daniel holds the turtle in his hand, carries it to the water play basin — it swims along the surface, just like in the sea. Marie builds a beach from sand, the turtle lays ‘eggs’ — little pebbles. A nursery educator tells stories of real sea turtles, of their long journeys. The toy becomes an anchor for stories.
