Five spinning discs on the wall, five ways to discover new ways of seeing. The large colour wheel on the hand crank mixes colours that don’t quite exist in nature as you turn it. The smaller discs with finger indentations invite quiet, repetitive turning. Made from plywood and beech, mounted on a board that you screw to the wall.

How Children Play With It
First, just the eyes: Which disc glows, which shimmers as it turns? Then the fingers find the indentations, press gently, give the disc a nudge. The large crank takes both hands—that’s the reward for patience. Colours blend into each other, patterns emerge. Some children stand mesmerised for minutes, breathing more slowly and evenly.
