How children play with it
Children arrange the five bins in a circle, pick a picture card and think: Where does a yoghurt pouch go? In the yellow bin. What about apple cores? In the compost. Each card sparks a little conversation, and sorting becomes an introduction to environmental awareness. Some cards are trickier — a pizza box with cheese scraps can puzzle them, and that’s exactly where learning happens.
