How Children Play with It
Water flows from the fountain into the upper channel, descends the natural wood slope, gurgles over the supports, spreads out. Children dip their hands in, watch leaves and little boats, discover flow and gravity. Acacia wood ages beautifully, silvering with time whilst retaining strength — unlike stainless steel, the wooden channel won’t heat up to uncomfortable temperatures in the summer sun. Supervision is needed, but the material invites careful exploration.
