How Children Play with Them

Thread the first crochet bead onto the cord, then the wooden bead, with the ribbon loop at the end. Once your Worm is finished, he gets a name, a place on the pillow, a purpose: he listens when someone’s sad, and carries their worries away to sleep. Handmade magic.
