How children play with it
The willow weave feels rough and warm to the touch, with individual straw fibres that are easy to feel. The child places three cotton balls in the nest, adds three wooden eggs — the nest gains inhabitants. Later it moves to a hat brim for Easter decoration, then into a nature collage. The woven nests bring nature and play together.
