Step by step
- Unpack both starter sets and sort the beads separately
- Choose the initial letter for each chain
- Thread chain 1 and check its length against the clip
- Thread chain 2 in the second colour and check its length too
- Knot both chains and lay them side by side to check symmetry
Safety first
- Total length including clip no more than 22 cm, in line with EN 12586
- Never use while sleeping, in the cot or in the pram without supervision
- Never lengthen the chain or add extra cord
- Attach the clip to clothing only, never worn as a cord around the neck
- Check knots, beads and clip for a firm fit before every use
Variations
- Same bead colour but a different charm bead per child
- Mark with number beads '1' and '2' instead of letters
