How children play with it
The 3 goes on the index finger, the stamp presses into the clay, and there’s the 3 imprinted neatly in the material. Next time a coloured 7 joins in, then a 0. Children pay attention to making sure the number is the right way round, on the same line, with consistent pressure – the world of writing and numbers in their own hands.
