How children play with it
Eyes covered, a finger runs across the card: is it scaly or fluffy, rough or silky? Your child guesses, maybe gets it wrong, laughs, flips it over, and sees the answer. Anyone who’s never stroked a fish learns about its scales through touch. Tactile awareness and animal knowledge grow together.
